Florence Welch Double Page Spread

This is a double page spread featuring Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine. the article is talking about her success in the USA, using one of her own songs in the heading, 'You've got the Love'. For the image a plain grey back ground has been used to emphasis the red and white of the flag and Florence dressed in black to stand out from the red and white. From what I can see there has been 4 different fonts used in this article, 2 different fonts used in the heading and another 2 for the actual written article. For the 'USA' section of the heading it is in a different font for it to stand out, it is also in grey but a different shade of grey to the back ground.

Alexandra Burke Double Page Spread

This is a double page spread featuring Alexandra Burke. The colour scheme that has been used for this is black, silver and pink. Alexandra is dressed in black and silver and the writing in black and then part of it written in pink, which is a pin-pointed quote from the article. As there is only a little bit of the article we don't see the heading, so we only see one font used in this section of the article.

Lady Gaga Double Page Spread

This double page spread is about Lady Gaga, similar to the Eva Mendes one, on the left side of the article is just a single picture of Lady Gaga. The picture is in black and white and is very simple. There is a burst of colour on the opposite page in the form of a capital 'L'. The title of the article is Lady Gaga,  just from guessing because its the only thing that suggests being a title. there are two different fonts being used for this title. And for the article there is just one, and the L looks to be the same font as the word Gaga.

Eva Mendes Double Page Spread

This is a double page spread featuring Eva Mendes. On one half of the double page spread is just a picture of her then on the opposite page there is two smaller pictures of Eva and the article. The title of the article is 'Viva Eva' and is a different font to everything else. From what I can see as well there are another three fonts used. On the left side page there is also a quote from the article which reads, 'Eva, What's your secret obsession? We all have secret obsessions.' This question is the main subject throughout the interview because from what i can gather she has bought her own fragrance out called Secret Obsession. The colour scheme for this double page spread is very simple, going for black and white.

Emma Watson - Glamour

Kim Kardashian - In Style

Kristen Stewart - Elle

This is the June 2012 issue for Elle Magazine.

Jennifer Lawrence - Vogue

This is the November 2012 issue of Vogue magazine. Vogue magazine is a high end fashion magazine which is monthly and costs £4.10.
Jennifer Lawrence is the main focal point and image of the front of this issue. the colour scheme that they have used this month is black, white and red. This has a really good affect on the front of the magazine because its got the sutble black and white and then for the cover lines they are in red so they stand out and catch your attention. The main cover line for this issue is 'Vogue's 100' and then goes on to say 'The best places to shop online'. The cover lines are all about beauty, so, hair styles, make up, clothes, etc.
What I like about this magazine is that its very simple with it being the majority black and white and then the red cover lines make it stand out and catch people's attention to it because they want to know what they are about.
